Job description
Overview

Hi. We are Bïrch. Our product is a mighty toolbox for all the things creative and growth marketing teams do — content creation, collaboration, and ad campaigns, all in one place. We’ve been in the game for over 8 years, trusted by 800+ companies and more than 5,500 marketers. With billions in ad spend running through our platform, we’re not just keeping up, we’re one of Meta’s fastest-growing partners and officially backed by both Meta and Google. Recently, we rebranded from Revealbot to Bïrch.

Why are we hiring? Our product copy needs leadership. The tone isn’t always us and the value we’ve built can get lost in translation. We have big launches coming: Ads Explorer, Studio rollout, and events in the pipeline. The team is asking, “Who handles the copy?” — we need someone who does.

We’re hiring a wordsmith: a creative mind with sharp taste and strong opinions who writes with personality, thinks outside the box, and isn’t afraid to take creative risks. You’ll tackle text challenges from micro-copy that makes users smile to launch messaging that excites audiences.

Who are we? We’re a remote-first team of ~35 across the world with an HQ in Barcelona. We hire globally and enjoy meeting offline: Barcelona and Istanbul have hosted team gatherings. We’re a diverse mix of cultures and backgrounds.

Requirements

Who are you?

  • Your English is excellent — ideally native or very close to it
  • You have a strong portfolio of texts with personality — not just typical B2B SaaS copy, but creative, well-formed, and varied work that has a voice
  • You tell great stories that make people feel something, not just skim
  • Ability to translate complex features into simple, compelling language
  • Strong cultural radar: you draw inspiration from diverse sources and can reference them appropriately
  • Independent, proactive leader who can guide strategy and defend what works
What will you do?

Your focus is communication — how we talk about ourselves and show our value. Your impact will touch product, brand, and everything in between. In your first 3–6 months, you’ll transform how we write: bring clarity and personality to product copy, ads, and communications; refresh website positioning; establish a distinct voice; and set up product storytelling across social, Substack, Reddit, Twitter/LinkedIn, newsletters, and other channels.

Your main focus areas
  • Leading our external messaging — ads, social posts, brand storytelling, campaign copy, and anything that touches our product
  • Writing sharp, engaging copy with original ideas for product UI, ads, emails, landing pages, and launches
  • Crafting in‑product communication: tooltips, alerts, onboarding, and more
  • Collaborating with our design/communication team to align words with visuals

What kind of copy do we look for?

We want copy that’s smart, clear, and feels human — not clone-like B2B SaaS language. Copy that makes you feel something or at least smile. Think Arc, June, Typeform, Raycast, Framer, and Aboard for reference styles. The energy we want is real, human, and audience-focused.

Benefits

What do we offer?

  • Big ambition and room to grow within a fast-moving company allied with Meta and Google
  • A creative challenge to rethink how our product should speak — fresh, clear, and human
  • Trust and autonomy with ownership over your workday and decisions
  • A collaborative culture where colleagues enjoy meaningful work and time together
  • Competitive salary and benefits:
    • 38 days of paid time off annually
    • Comprehensive health insurance (Alan or SafetyWing)
    • $2000 annual travel bonus for you and a loved one
    • $2000 annual Learn & Development budget
    • $2000 annual bonus for meeting with the team in Barcelona or another country
    • Company support for relocation to Barcelona
    • Laptop budget for up-to-date gear
    • Regular team meet-ups and off-sites
    • Remote or hybrid work options if you’re in Barcelona
    • Co-working budget as needed
Before you apply

We’re honest about challenges: this is a highly technical, niche product with industry jargon. We’re seeking a leader who can drive our creative direction with limited traditional management structure — you’ll make independent decisions and guide the team. If you prefer more structured guidance, this role may not be the best fit. If this aligns with you, we’d love to hear from you.
