Job description
Overview

Engineering is at the very core of what we do. Be it civil, mechanical or electrical, our engineers are based on site and play a practical, hands-on role in the successful delivery of projects. As a Lead Process Engineer for our North Wales region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the process functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects. From concept design to commissioning, you will ensure that all process aspects are meticulously considered and integrated.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the programme of our site-based MEP Engineers and support them in delivering MEP schemes in a safe, timely manner in line with client and regulatory engineering standards.
  • Help to integrate the design, construction and commissioning of plant and equipment within the Water sector by bringing other people\'s mechanical, electrical and/or process skills to practical benefit.
  • Plan and programme the MEP aspects of the projects we deliver; working with design and operational teams to support the design, planning, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of projects.
  • To assign responsibilities and deploy resources within the MEP delivery and commissioning team, taking account of health and safety implications including training and competence.
  • To ensure regular forward planning / performance review meetings with key supply chain subcontractors and Client, alongside our significant training and development investment, bespoke progression plan and support to achieve professional chartership, we offer a wide range of financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
  • ECS and SMSTS (Training can be offered to an appropriate candidate).
Qualifications
  • HNC / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of MEP engineering principles and practices within a Civil engineering environment.
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
