A leading care provider in Aberdeen City is seeking a dedicated Lead Practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis. We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and dedicated individual to join us in the Stonehaven area as a Lead Practitioner on a full-time (39 hours per week), permanent basis.
Here at Cornerstone, the support that we provide is centred around assisting individuals to identify and work towards their goals. We work with the individuals to develop personal plans that reflect their choices, individual support needs and capabilities.
Working alongside our Service Lead, as a Lead Practitioner , you'll demonstrate great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and will lead and inspire your team(s) of Support Practitioners.
You’ll provide support, guidance and mentor your team to ensure that they are professional, accountable, engaged and motivated resulting in them delivering first class, high quality care and support. You’ll also contribute to ensuring that our service is running within agreed budgets and in conjunction with our contractual requirements.

What we'll need you to bring :
As a Lead Practitioner , you will work 5 out of 7 days. There may be occasions where we will need you to be flexible to work evenings, sleepovers, waking nights and weekends due to the needs of our service. On call duties will also be a requirement on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and have a commitment to working towards a relevant SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government / police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
