Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a GPhC registered pharmacist with broad clinical knowledge and a robust education and training background to join our Pharmacy Team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead for and provide high quality specialist clinical pharmacy services to improve the quality of patient care.
  • Promote evidence-based, cost-effective prescribing.
  • Lead the strategic development, delivery, and quality assurance of education and training for pharmacy.
  • Act as non‑medical prescribing lead for pharmacists.
  • Proactively advise the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services and the Director of Pharmacy on local and national issues or legislation relevant to the specialist clinical pharmacy service area.
  • Lead and develop the clinical pharmacy service in the specialist area in line with departmental and patient needs to ensure delivery of a high quality, patient‑centred and effective service.
  • Support the development of the pharmacy and wider team to build capacity and capability through work‑based and inter‑professional learning, and the application of learning to practice.
