This is an excellent opportunity to join Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in a senior role within the Pharmacy team, leading services to the Cardiology department and contributing as a Specialist Lead Pharmacist.

The Trust is a Teaching Hospital and provider of specialist tertiary care for Cardiac, Haematology and adult Cystic Fibrosis services. The Pharmacy Department provides specialist services to these areas and more. To lead and manage day-to-day delivery of clinical pharmacy services to Medical-Cardiology wards; develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge in medicines used in Cardiology and Medical patients; act as a key resource of expertise for the Department and Trust; undertake teaching and contribute to the antimicrobial stewardship programme.
