Job summary

A leading defence technology company is seeking an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer to spearhead electronics development on the Distributed Electro-Optical Sensor (DEOS) project for the Global Combat Air System Programme. You will manage a team of engineers, oversee project work, and collaborate with international partners, contributing to a mission-critical defence programme. This role requires a degree in Electronics Engineering and expertise in electronics design.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related science.
• Experience of team leadership and work package management.
• Expert-level proficiency in electronics design, such as analogue or digital.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team in developing electronics through full design lifecycle.
• Own all electronics work packages and agree budget and schedule.
• Lead architecture development and liaise with other engineering leads.
