Qualifications

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography or a related field.
  • Proven experience in EIA coordination and delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the UK planning system and EIA regulations.
  • Ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Membership of IEMA or similar (or working towards).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate EIA projects from feasibility through to submission.
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders to support the planning process.
  • Prepare Environmental Statements, screening and scoping reports.
  • Instruct and manage specialist sub-consultants and technical inputs.
  • Contribute to planning strategy, risk identification, and project mitigation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EIA legislation and best practices.
