They're looking for a Lead Database Administrator to own the technical direction, architecture, and roadmap for their database estate while mentoring a talented, growing team.

The Role:

This is a senior technical leadership role combining hands‑on engineering with strategic influence. You'll define standards, drive technical decisions, and lead the evolution of database operations toward modern DevOps practices. Acting as the lead technical authority, you'll guide a keen but developing team, coaching them to work collaboratively and confidently. You'll be at the centre of architectural decisions, ensuring environments are secure and scalable. The role spans infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and operational maturity.
