Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying role on large projects (£5m+).
• Experience with delivering larger power projects in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Expertise in financial control and cost management.
• Experience in managing project disputes with a solid understanding of resolution processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre & post contract commercial function for SSE's ICP/Private Networks business.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders like Project Managers and Engineers.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to minimize business risks.
• Manage commercial processes for projects worth over £2m.
• Ensure cost control adherence across all projects.
• Provide commercial reporting for effective risk management.
