A healthcare provider in Tees Valley is seeking a qualified Clinical Scientist in Medical Physics to join their team at The James Cook University Hospital. This full-time role requires significant experience in radiotherapy physics, along with the ability to achieve certification as a Medical Physics Expert. The position provides an opportunity to support high-quality clinical services and participate in professional development training. Salary ranges from £55,690 to £62,682 annually.
This is an opportunity to work in Medical Physics at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, part of the United Hospitals Tees Group. The radiotherapy physics team provide high quality services to support the clinical activity of the Radiotherapy department which serves the population of over 1 million people living in and around the Tees Valley region.
Applicants for this grade must be Clinical Scientists with significant experience in the field of radiotherapy physics, able to work as a Medical Physics Expert (RPA2000 certificate holder), or with the ability to do so within 12 months of appointment.
Interviews have a preliminary date of 12th and 13th February.
