Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a technical sales role is advantageous.
  • UK Driver's License required.

Responsibilities
  • As LC-MS Sales Specialist, manage the full sales life cycle, advising on a range of LC-MS instrumentation to a multitude of clients, including research laboratories, CROs and academia.
  • Initial contact to understand client requirements and analytical challenges/goals.
  • Technical discussions and advising on best products/solutions.
  • Input into the instrument demonstration process.
  • Negotiating sale and project completion.
  • Provide a crucial interface between in-house teams and customers, ensuring the business responds to customer requirements and continues to offer the highest quality services and products to the market.
  • Attend and support events and conferences and remain abreast of competitor products and applications.
Requirements
  • BSc in Chemistry/ Chemistry-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • UK Driver's License.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Practical knowledge/equivalent experience of LC-MS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills.
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in a technical sales role is advantageous, albeit not essential for candidates with the appropriate LC-MS knowledge and aptitude to move into a commercial role.
