Job summary

A top law firm's recruitment partner is looking for a Locum Residential Property Associate to join their team in London on a temporary basis, initially for around 3 months. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload of residential property transactions, act for private clients and banks, and ensure excellent client service. Strong communication skills and a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in residential property are essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions with prestigious clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ PQE with strong residential property experience (leasehold, freehold, new builds).
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong communication and client handling skills.

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Residential Property Associate to join their top law firm client's team on a temporary basis, initially for around 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of residential property transactions (sales, purchases, financing)


• Acting for both private clients and banks on property financing


• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents


• Handling lettings, licences, deeds of variation, and other private client matters


• Ensuring excellent client service while managing multiple timesensitive files

Skills Required

• Minimum 4 years’ PQE with strong residential property experience (leasehold, freehold, new builds)


• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a high-volume caseload


• Strong communication and client handling skills


• Team player with drive, initiative, and commercial awareness
