We’re seeking a motivated and technically capable Surveyor to join a growing team of professionals. You’ll be responsible for carrying out precise topographical, land, and utility surveys, producing reliable data and clear deliverables that support design and construction teams across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking detailed topographical and utility surveys using the latest total stations, GNSS systems, and ground‑penetrating radar (GPR).
  • Processing and interpreting data using industry‑standard software to deliver accurate drawings and models.
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure work meets technical and quality standards.
  • Managing site work efficiently, ensuring safety, precision, and professionalism at all times.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with the hunger to progress into a management role!

Equipment and Software
  • You’ll work with a wide range of cutting‑edge technology, including:
  • Land Surveying Equipment:
  • Robotic Total Stations (Leica, Trimble, Topcon)
  • GNSS/GPS Systems for control networks and setting‑out
  • 3D Laser Scanners for high‑definition data capture
  • UAVs (Drones) for aerial photogrammetry and large‑area mapping
  • Utility Surveying Equipment:
  • Ground Penetrating Radar (IDS, Leica DS2000, or similar)
  • Electromagnetic Locators (Radiodetection RD8100, CAT & Genny)
  • CCTV Inspection Systems for underground assets
  • Cable avoidance and depth measurement tools
Software:
  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroSurvey CAD for drawing and design
  • Leica Infinity, Trimble Business Center, and Magnet for data processing
  • TopoDOT or Cyclone for point cloud management
  • QGIS or ArcGIS for mapping and GIS deliverables
  • 3D modelling and BIM integration tools for collaborative projects
  • This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys combining field expertise with technical data processing, ensuring clients receive accurate, professional, and presentation‑ready outputs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in land or utility surveying, ideally both.
  • Excellent understanding of surveying principles, data processing, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of modern instruments and survey workflows.
  • A proactive, solution‑focused attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations.
  • Relevant qualifications or professional memberships (e.g., TSA, RICS) desirable.
Why This Opportunity?
  • Technical Excellence: Access the latest instruments and software to deliver best‑in‑class results.
  • Career Growth: Structured development, training, and support towards professional accreditation.
  • Culture: A supportive and collaborative environment where your input and innovation are valued.
  • Rewards: Competitive salary, vehicle or allowance, pension, performance bonus, and flexible working options.
