Job summary

A construction services provider in Huddersfield is seeking laborers to assist with a train station refurbishment. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CSCS card and have relevant Highways/Civils experience. This position is full-time and will require a strong work ethic to perform various physical tasks on site.

Job description

Overview

We are looking for labourers to assist with our client on a train station refurbishment. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card. This is a two week assignment on a shutdown working the full weekend. This is working on the day shift - 7am to 4pm. Applicants must have relevant Highways / Civils experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools as required
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
• Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Experience

• Previous experience in a laborer or construction role is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
