Job description

Job Title: Labourer

Division: IODS Pipe Clad

Hours of Work: Full-time: 37.5 hours on shifts (some flexibility required)

Salary & Benefits: £DOE

Outline of Role and Responsibilities

• Internal and external movement of goods and materials to meet production requirements
• Cleaning and preparing components for processing as required.
• Grinding, Sawing, and Inspection of components in preparation for cladding or other processes.
• Preparing parts for internal or external shipment as required.
• Internal and external housekeeping duties.
• General duties such as emptying bins, cleaning and painting areas as directed by the Supervisor
• Ensure adherence and compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
• To provide support to other members of the team when required.
• May be required to cover shift patterns as required
• Overhead Crane, Abrasive Wheel, material handling equipment duties – training will be given.
• Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
• Maintain equipment and report equipment that requires servicing or repair.
• Able to work shifts and overtime when required.
