The philosophy at Kingston Hospital Maternity Unit is to put women and birthing people at the centre of their service. This role is specifically within the Labour Ward and involves supporting a large team across a variety of departments.
This role is best suited to volunteers who are proactive in supporting a large team, enjoy meeting people and providing companionship and support during what can be an emotional journey for women. You will need to interact with people from all walks of life and listen without judgement.
If you are interested in more than one role, please submit your application on your initial preference (other roles can be discussed at assessment).
Please note you will be given a 20-minute assessment on the week commencing either the 13th October or 20th October at Kingston Hospital. Please only apply if you are able to attend the above dates.
Please provide details for two references (one of which you have known for over 3 years). It is essential you provide an email address for each reference when submitting your application. You may provide a family friend but not a relative.
