A healthcare provider is seeking a passionate and skilled midwife to provide clinical leadership at their Peterborough facility. The ideal candidate will have robust clinical experience, particularly in Labour Ward settings, and possess excellent leadership capabilities. We are looking for a midwife who is passionate, enthusiastic and skilled in intrapartum care to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team of Obstetricians, Anaesthetist, Theatres, SCBU, Labour Ward coordinators and Acute Service Lead Midwife in providing clinical, operational and managerial leadership.
The successful candidate must be committed to continuous quality improvement, be able to participate in the development of guidelines, complete audit and support the delivery of safe, effective and personalised care.
This post will provide clinical and managerial leadership, alongside the Acute Service Lead Midwife, taking responsibility for providing a clear focus for the profession and effective clinical leadership and accountability for the service.
You will be responsible for the line management of staff and ensuring they uphold the Trust and Professional values. Working in collaboration you will participate in the development of the service in line with national and local agendas, and the delivery of performance targets.
Provide clinical advice and care within the clinical area and support staff development alongside the wider multidisciplinary team.
