CK Group is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join an ingredients and additives manufacturing company based in Epping.

This is a temporary role with an hourly rate ranging from £13.50 to £16, depending on experience.

The Company:

Our client is a manufacturer of ingredients supplied to the food, industrial, personal care, processing, and pharmaceutical industries. They hold several accreditations including BRC, Kosher, Halal, RSPO, and more.

Location:

This Laboratory Technician role is located in Epping, easily accessible from Harlow, Enfield, Chelmsford, Hatfield, and surrounding areas. It is also reachable via the London Underground on the Central line, with the site near Epping tube station.

Laboratory Technician Role

Your main duties will be:

  1. Carrying out procedures and quality control tests according to company food safety standards.
  2. Performing laboratory research projects under managerial supervision, including cooking and functional tests.
  3. Calibrating equipment to ensure valid results.
  4. Recording test results and data accurately and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification (strongly preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory with high safety and standards.
