Job summary

A high-growth manufacturing organisation in the UK is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager. This role involves designing impactful internal learning programmes, leading talent management initiatives, and fostering a strong learning culture. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in leadership workshops and a background in manufacturing. A full UK driving license is required. Job Description
  • Design and deliver impactful internal learning programmes with a strong focus on leadership development and capability building.
  • Lead Talent Management and Succession Planning processes, ensuring future leaders are identified and nurtured.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to align development activities to PDR outcomes, operational needs, and growth priorities.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of L&D initiatives, introducing new delivery methods including digital/blended learning.
  • Build and maintain a learning culture by managing development resources, approved suppliers, and group-wide L&D frameworks.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience designing and facilitating leadership workshops at Team Leader or Manager level.
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Experience leading Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence and presence in delivery.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and travel to other UK sites when required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
