Overview

Orka Financial is currently partnering with a large, successful, corporate business that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. The role reports to the Financial Controller, managing a small team responsible for driving the financial integrity, efficiency, and accountability across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of finance professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of financial reporting across a number of global entities.
• Ownership of the monthly financial close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Overseeing the statutory financial statement preparation under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Project managing external audits.
• Process improvement, identifying and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

The role requires a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical skills including statutory reporting/financial statements. Experience of working for a large corporate business is preferred and in UK/US GAAP. The role manages a team so proven experience in leadership is essential.

Remuneration and Location

The role is paying £75,000 + bonus + benefits and is based in Bracknell with hybrid working.
