We are looking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to coordinate the teaching of Mathematics at Key Stage 3. This role involves overseeing Key Stage 3 Maths teaching, helping students transition from primary school and ensuring teachers have the right resources. It includes updating the team on syllabus changes, supporting quality checks like book reviews and lesson observations, and tracking student progress to guide interventions. The role also covers organising internal exams, preparing departmental documents, sharing best practices, managing staff performance and stepping in for senior leaders when needed. Other tasks may be assigned by the Director of Mathematics or senior leadership.
