Job summary

An education staffing agency in Cardiff is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support the academic development of pupils. You will collaborate with the class teacher to deliver lessons and provide tailored support to individuals and small groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in a primary school setting and a proactive approach to working with children. Competitive daily rate offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• EWC Registration is required.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach to working with children.

KS2 Teaching Assistant - Cardiff Primary School

Location: Cardiff

Setting: Primary School - Key Stage 2

Start Date: Beginning of October

Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Daily Rate: £88.94 (increases dependent on client rate, experience, and qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Support the academic development of pupils in KS2
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons and manage the classroom environment
• Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups where needed
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working in a primary school setting (KS2 experience preferred)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council)
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach to working with children
