The Role

• Position: KS2 Teacher – Maternity Cover
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Full-time, maternity cover (Spring & Summer Terms)

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and challenging lessons in line with the school’s broad and balanced curriculum. The ability to inspire a love of learning and to nurture each child’s potential is key.

The position will also include English specialist teaching to pupils in the Upper Prep School (Years 5 and 6). Pupils are taught in ability sets for English and Mathematics, and the successful candidate will have the subject knowledge and confidence to teach engaging and challenging lessons that enable every child to make the greatest possible progress. Knowledge of the 11+ syllabus and preparation process would be highly desirable. Class teachers benefit from small class sizes and a generous non-contact allowance, supporting high-quality planning and teaching.
