Overview

Are you an outstanding, proactive and enthusiastic teacher looking for flexible and rewarding work in Stoke? We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated teachers to join our network for day-to-day supply cover in Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for flexibility and the chance to make a positive impact in a variety of primary school settings.

In this role, you will be covering day-to-day teaching assignments across various year groups within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6). As a day-to-day teacher, your adaptability, enthusiasm, and ability to quickly build rapport with students will be key to ensuring continued high-quality learning during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre planned lessons and promote engagement with learning and tasks
• Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching
• Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and student outcomes

What You Will Need

• UK QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a school setting (ideally within Key Stage 2)
• An updated DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team
