KS1 Teacher (Full Time, Temporary)

Peterlee

£600 - £1190 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

January 2026 July 2026

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking a passionate Year 1/2 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave in a welcoming primary school in Peterlee. This full-time role starts in January. The class includes high numbers of SEN children, so KS1 and SEN experience is ideal. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, have strong behaviour management skills, and support all pupils learning in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
