Job summary

A premier educational support provider is seeking a Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 within a dedicated SEN Hub. This full-time position requires experience with SEND, effective communication skills, and a nurturing approach. Responsibilities include providing tailored support, working closely with teachers and external agencies, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly within EYFS/KS1.
• Understanding of EHCP targets and differentiated learning.
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND within the KS1 SEN Hub.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development.
• Assist in adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress planning.
