A newly opening Japanese Ramen shop in London is looking for a Kitchen Supervisor to manage daily kitchen operations. This ramen shop just launched its first shop in the UK and the Supervisor will play a key role in establishing the brand.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Ensure that food and service meet standards on every occasion
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
  • Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs
Ideal Candidate
  • Business level of English
  • Great understanding of Japanese culture and language
  • More than 2 years’ experience in kitchen
  • Completion of secondary school usually required
  • Health & Safety & Food Safety certification
