Job summary

A luxury hotel group in London is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in back of house operations. About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Stewarding Department in London Mayfair, the Kitchen Steward is responsible for playing an integral part in facilitating the smooth running of back of house operations, maintaining the standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety to provide an essential service to our hotel guests. The Kitchen Steward reports to the Back of House Manager.

As Kitchen Steward you willresponsiblefor the following duties:

·To ensure that all areas of responsibility are maintained in a safe and hygienic condition and that all equipment, floors and walls are clean to the required standard.

·To be responsible for the correct operation and cleaning of all machinery, particularly dishwashers.

·To record and maintain overall stock of entire utensils and chinaware.

·To ensure that all cleaning schedules for all areas of responsibility are carried out as required.
