Overview

Are you looking for an exciting role where you can build your career while also maintaining a healthy work/life balance? Then you could be the exceptional Kitchen Porter that we are looking for!

£12.21 per hour, term-time only

20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm.

We want you... People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are looking for a Kitchen Porter at our school site in Hertford. You will be reporting into the Chef Manager at the main school site.

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties
• Using a mechanical dishwasher and sinks to wash up
• Putting away deliveries with good stock practice
• Carry out pot washing and dish cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

Qualifications / Requirements

• Have good communication skills at all levels
• The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required
