Overview

Holroyd Howe is one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. We tailor our catering service provision to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

We are seeking an experienced service with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our team at one of our highly prestigious education settings. The site caters for day pupils as well as boarders and staff and includes breakfast, lunch and supper service as well as an extensive hospitality service. This role requires excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills, and a real passion for food and service.

Location: In person at the school site.

Note: This appointment is offered on the return of satisfactory professional references and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• wash-up using dishwashers and hand wash
• cleaning and maintaining organization within the kitchen, stores and serving area
• washing plates, cutlery, pots etc
• washing and polishing glassware
• cleaning kitchen area as required, mopping floors, emptied bins etc.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within Education catering, but training will be provided to successful candidate
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge
