We're looking for a friendly and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our small but perfectly formed team, working alongside our Chef and Food Service Assistant. This is a part‑time position ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a close‑knit team, keeping the kitchen running smoothly, and helping to create a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, equipment, and stores, ensuring timely and efficient cleaning.
  • Handle, clean, and correctly store all plates, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment, keeping everything ready for use.
  • Follow all Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH procedures, using equipment safely and reporting hazards, defects, or faulty items immediately.
  • Keep accurate awareness of cleaning materials, minimise waste, and notify the manager when stock levels are low.
  • Support the wider team by handling customer concerns appropriately, covering other areas when needed, and attending training to maintain standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to support the wider team.
  • Ability to grow and improve through training, coaching, and feedback.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to interact effectively with customers, clients, and colleagues at all levels.
