Are you reliable, hardworking, and passionate about keeping things spotless behind the scenes? Join our dynamic kitchen team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel as a Full-Time Kitchen Porter, working 40 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in the day‑to‑day operations of our busy kitchen. You’ll ensure that all kitchen and wash‑up areas are spotless and equipment is cleaned, stored, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure all crockery and kitchenware are promptly cleaned and correctly stored.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and uphold food hygiene regulations.
  • Promptly clean any breakages or spillages to avoid accidents.
  • Support the wider kitchen team with ad hoc duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Good understanding of basic food hygiene practices.
  • A good level of spoken English is essential.
