Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Kitchen Manager to join a welcoming kitchen team at a popular restaurant in the Hastings area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who wants to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients in a relaxed and friendly environment - with a great work-life balance and no late nights!

About the Role

As Kitchen Manager, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver a delicious, high quality menu for our restaurant, including breakfasts, lunches, light bites and homemade specials. You'll be hands on in the kitchen and ready to step up when needed, helping to lead the team and maintain smooth service during peak times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and serving high-quality fresh food.
  • Take the lead in the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Help with menu planning and introducing seasonal specials.
  • Support stock control and kitchen organisation.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
