Kitchen Assistant – Bank

Location: Glenholme Wendreth Court, March, PE15 8QT

Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting our Chef in carrying out all delegated tasks in all areas of the kitchen's responsibility and maintaining a very high standard of hygiene and dress.

Main Duties And Responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant

• To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.
• To ensure that all equipment is thoroughly washed.
• To ensure that the best economic use is made of material issued to you.
• To report all defects, damage, and breakages to the chef/assistant cook.
• To assist in the day-to-day operations of kitchen duties.
• To assist with the preparation of vegetables, sandwiches etc.
• To ensure the kitchen and ancillary rooms are cleaned thoroughly as per the cleaning schedule.
• To work at times in other areas other than your normal place of employment as required.
• At all times your uniform is to be clean and well-ironed and well-presented.
