Kirkwall Grammar School is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the school meal service during term time.
This is a permanent part time role for twenty seven and a half hours a week, working Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 2.45pm and on Fridays from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
You will help with basic food preparation and cooking, assist with serving meals and operate the till during service.
You will set up and clear down the dining area, wash dishes and ensure the kitchen and dining spaces remain clean and organised.
You will follow food hygiene procedures and support a smooth, friendly and reliable mealtime service for pupils and staff.
You must hold an Elementary Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
This role requires a Level 2 PVG Disclosure for working in a regulated post with children.
