Key Account Manager - Design Firms

Mission

Key Account Manager is a key role within the organisation and has a UK&I remit. The Key Account Manager will be expected to help lead, and execute, key initiatives and projects that are vital to the success of the design firm practice and the overall business. The role is exposed to multiple stakeholders across the organisation and various parts of the division and of the Schneider Electric business overall.

Responsibilities
  • Gain access with the customer at all levels of their business
  • Define a differentiated Schneider value propositions for the customer
  • Define a clear account strategy that embraces the full portfolio of Schneider
  • Identify and manage the pipeline of opportunities
  • Generate profitable growth and increase the share of wallet for your account
  • Ability to develop bi-directional business value for Schneider & Design firm. Aligned with Schneider key strategic objectives.
  • Take ownership of customer issues
  • Management of internal stakeholders to obtain right level of support for delivering the strategy and superior customer satisfaction
Skills and attributes
  • Experience in Key Account Management & Business Development
  • Business leadership presence & strong listening skills
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry & Market trends
  • Accustomed to fast-changing, complex and ambiguous environment
  • Solid expertise and exposure to key Segments
  • Excellent analytical- as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Team Player - passionate and dynamic leader with the energy and ability to obtain alignment and work effectively across a complex, global matrix organization
  • Team Builder - People management experience with a coaching and collaborative team-oriented leadership style is essential
Education
  • Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English; Any other language is a plus
  • Other: Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills, and presentation writing skills.
