Overview

Key Account Manager, Scotland. IQVIA is recruiting for a Key Account Manager to shape and direct the use of an anti-fungal agent across Scotland. You will provide a high-quality commercial approach, maximise opportunities and investments using your negotiation skills, and produce and implement bespoke initiatives that enable access to the client9s products by NHS and private providers. It will be essential to maintain a high degree of knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (local and national) by proactively reviewing current positions and providing solutions to ensure the use of the client9s products.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and direct the use of an anti-fungal agent across Scotland.
  • Provide a high-quality commercial approach to maximise opportunities and investments using negotiation skills.
  • Produce and implement bespoke initiatives enabling access to the client9s products by NHS and private providers.
  • Maintain knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (local and national) by proactively reviewing current positions and providing solutions.
Qualifications
  • Ideally experience in the anti-infective marketplace within the UK or a proven track record of speciality medicine in secondary care
  • ABPI qualification
  • A high level of selling, commercial acumen and negotiating skills
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with all key customers including clinicians, commissioners and business managers
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the product, disease area and customer environment, including NHS budgetary and planning processes
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
