Overview

KAREN (SGAW) Bilingual Market Researcher role for a culturally sensitive market research project focused on the Karen community in Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). The project aims to gather insights to improve access to products and services relevant to this minority group. The role serves as a bridge between the Karen community and the research team.

Location: Ideally on site at the London Bridge area office. Start date: asap. Length of booking: 2 months. Shifts: 1 or 2 shifts per week, 14:00-22:00 (4 or 5 hours within this window).

Salary: £20 per hour + Holiday Pay (equivalent to an annual salary of £34,000).

Project

This market research project will explore religious and cultural issues within this minority group. The project is culturally sensitive and seeks insights from all household decision makers, primarily female, who influence food, health, and hygiene-related issues. Information gathered will help gain access to better medical and other support. You will need to interview in a culturally sensitive manner.
