Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of ponies and their environment. This role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a dynamic outdoor setting. Note: Will suit a 16 or 17 year old.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
• Maintain cleanliness of stables and surrounding areas by mucking out stalls and disposing of waste properly.
• Assist with the management of providing water to pastures and paddocks.
• Assist with the management of the pastures and paddocks.
• Conduct regular inspections of the stable facilities and report any issues or repairs needed.
• Lift heavy loads as required, such as bales of hay or feed bags, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care or working with horses is desirable.
• Candidates must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
