Role overview

London - Hybrid. The Confluence Junior Sales Account Manager is a sales and client relationship professional with 2-3 years’ experience managing, strengthening and growing SaaS-based data, compliance and regulatory reporting, and analytics client relationships with leading financial institutions. The Account Manager will work with the Head of Account Management to manage a designated group of mid-tier client accounts and will partner with the Sales Team to drive new product sales across current client relationships.

What you will do

As a Junior Sales Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of client relationships, working closely with the Head of Account Management and the Sales Team. You’ll manage a portfolio of mid-tier accounts, drive renewals, lead price negotiations, and identify opportunities to cross-sell our solutions. You will:

  • Manage, strengthen and grow SaaS-based data, compliance and regulatory reporting, and analytics client relationships with financial institutions.
  • Collaborate to driveRenewals and cross-sell opportunities across current client relationships.
  • Leverage Salesforce and Microsoft Teams to capture insights and drive results.
  • Attend top-tier conferences where applicable and build industry relationships.
What skills and experience you need
  • Essential requirements
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • 2–3 years’ experience managing and growing SaaS-based client relationships in financial services.
  • Proven ability to network and build relationships with asset managers, investment consultants, wealth managers, and asset owners.
  • Experience in a high-velocity sales environment with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Skilled at driving cloud-based software sales and identifying prospect needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex business issues and drive adoption of solutions.
  • Understanding of Miller Heiman or comparable sales management methodology.
  • Strong industry relationships to foster growth within your region.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Desirable requirements
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other networking tools.
  • Knowledge of shareholder and regulatory reporting, performance and risk, and factor-based analysis.
  • Experience attending industry conferences and building relationships at various levels.
  • Understanding of market developments and ability to communicate insights to marketing and product teams.
Travel and flexibility
  • Travel: 25–50% as required for client meetings and relationship building.
  • Hybrid: Work remotely with regular office collaboration.
