Junior Quality Control Technician - £13 per hour - Braintree, Essex

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the aerospace and manufacturing industry.

The Role:

You will support the Quality Manager in ensuring that all products meet customer and regulatory requirements before release. You'll carry out inspections, review documentation, and assist in maintaining the company's Quality Management System.

Duties include:
  • Ensure traceability and compliance with EN AS9100
  • Inspecting components visually and dimensionally using tools such as CMM, Keyence, Micrometers
  • Reporting and investigating any quality issues, raising corrective action reports
  • Managing and containing reported quality issues to prevent non-conformance
  • Completing practical problem-solving activities within the AS13100 framework
  • Supporting the Quality Clinic and contributing to continuous improvement
Experience required:
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering quality role (ideally aerospace or precision engineering)
  • Understanding of inspection techniques and use of measuring equipment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to work
  • Computer literate and able to work with ERP systems
Hours & Pay:

Full-time, permanent position
Competitive hourly rate - up to £DOE
Monday to Friday, day shift hours
