Job description

We are a manufacturing company in Milton Keynes, who craft flexible fuel tanks for many industries. This includes motorsport, automotive, marine, aerospace, defence and aviation, to name a few! We are the leading manufacturer in our field and exclusively supply all of the teams on the Formula 1 grid.

We work with some world-famous brands and craft a safety product, meaning quality is of the utmost importance to us.

Job Role

The Junior Planner role is to assist and be theadministrator of the material and production planning functions.

Main Duties

  • Liaising with relevant departments to establish progress and communicating back to the supply chain
  • Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders
  • Analysis of MRP data to ensure the company are procuring material within cost constraints
  • Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products, coordinating with Stores team
  • Managing schedule changes, and cancellations as directed by the Planning Resource function
  • Monitoring costs associated with materials purchases and maintaining records of expenditures
  • Creating past due reports and driving resolution with Stores Team
  • Update daily chases with accurate material shortage information
  • Creation of works orders and their communication to relevant functional areas
  • Liaising with the Production Co-ordinator to ensure that all customer projects are planned in a resource effective manner
  • Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure any planning queries are dealt with at the initial planning stage
  • Produce and maintain the Planned vs. Actual reporting system, analysing the data with the Planning team and implementing any updates necessary to ensure the schedule reflects current data

The Package

  • Salary£25,000-28,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
