Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Progression + Training + Days Only

Do you have an apprenticeship or qualification in electrical engineering or similar? Are you looking for a full‑time, permanent role with the opportunity to expand your knowledge, develop new skills, and progress your career through a structured training programme with hands‑on experience?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a tight‑knit maintenance team, working on a wide range of electrical systems across multiple attractions. You'll receive full on‑the‑job training, giving team members the chance to develop practical skills, enhance their expertise, and build a solid foundation in electrical engineering.

In this hands‑on role, you'll play a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. 45‑hour week (Mon‑Sun, 5‑day rota).

This opportunity would suit an Apprentice‑Trained Engineer from an electrical background or similar, who is looking for a versatile, hands‑on role with full on‑the‑job training.

The Role:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance within a safety‑critical environment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, using technical drawings and engineering knowledge.
• Work to UK standards and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including 18th Edition requirements.
• Support maintenance across multiple systems, attending ride stoppages and assisting in the development and improvement of equipment performance.
• 45‑hour week - Monday to Sunday, 5‑day rota.

The Person:

• Apprentice‑trained engineer or ONC / Level 3 C&G / BTEC qualification.
• Strong electrical background or similar experience.
• Commutable to Southend‑on‑Sea.
