The Vacancy
Pharos Generator Services an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Junior Generator Engineer to join the team based in Runcorn, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to obtain relevant security clearances, such as, obtaining and maintaining a DBS check, BPSS clearance and NPPV level 1, 2 and 3. This list is not exhaustive and other clearances may be required depending on our client.

Pharos Generator Services (PGS) is a UK-based company with more than 60 years’ experience in the power generation industry. We specialise in supplying, installing, commissioning, repairing and servicing diesel backup and emergency-power systems. Our diverse client base includes the Ministry of Defence, BT, the NHS, police and fire services and facilities management companies. Our services have been mobilised to aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, electrical infrastructure and railway sectors.
PGS has been actively researching and exploring new clean fuel technologies to complement the switch to renewable sources of energy. Our ambition is to explore how renewables and battery storage could be an alternative in certain situations. This transition will position PGS as an established provider of backup power supplies, enabling expansion in the UK and abroad.
