About the Role

As a Junior Finance Administrator, you will support the finance and accounts department with day‑to‑day financial operations. Your contributions will ensure accurate financial records, timely processing of invoices, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career looking to develop skills within the dynamic health and social care sector.

Main Duties
  • Assist with processing of invoices, purchase orders and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Support preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update financial records and databases.
  • Assist with payroll administration, gathering and checking data as required.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, clients and internal departments regarding financial queries.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Passed GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). A‑levels. Qualifications in finance or business desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role desirable but not essential.
  • Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable working with finance software.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
