Job description
Your role
  • Continually interrogate departmental working practices to provide the best workflows, identify bottlenecks, document problems and prioritise work
  • Define, document and communicate the engineering practices we should adhere to, ultimately: how we design, build, test and optimise a PU
  • PU Design and develop software to optimise these processes, gather requirements and feedback from all users, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved
  • Collaborate with other internal software development teams to deliver the right systems using the most appropriate technologies available
  • Deliver software and process solutions to enable the PU build and assembly teams, ensuring a robust and accurate process
  • Develop simulation tools to provide fast accurate simulation
Essential skills
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent
  • Proficient with Python or similar languages
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships across the Red Bull Technology Campus
Additional skills
  • Understanding of what makes up a hybrid power unit
  • Knowledge and understanding of the design of mechanical or electrical components and systems for manufacture and assembly
  • Experience managing SharePoint sites, and developing forms and workflows with Power Automate
  • Understanding of version control software, such as Git or SVN
  • Experience using task management software, such as DevOps or Jira
  • Understanding of Linux operating systems and batch queuing systems
