Overview

Junior Digital Designer. Location: Avonmouth (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote after training). We are seeking a talented Junior Digital Designer to join our fast-paced and dynamic eCommerce team. Reporting to the Web Creative Manager, you will be responsible for creating high-quality digital assets to support our wide range of products and brands across e-commerce websites, marketing emails, and social media platforms. Working primarily in Adobe Photoshop, you'll craft polished visuals that combine product imagery, typography, and colour to produce engaging and impactful promotional content. You'll also have the opportunity to learn and apply HTML & CSS, helping bring your designs to life in real-world digital environments. This is a great opportunity for someone with a real eye for design who is passionate about digital creativity and eager to develop technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design creative assets for global marketing campaigns across web, email, social media, and paid advertising channels.
  • Use CMS platforms to upload and manage visual content in live environments.
  • Ensure all designs meet current digital accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider design team to manage workflows efficiently using Trello.
  • Support ad hoc digital content updates and projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • A degree in a design-related field or equivalent professional experience as a digital designer, artworker, or in a similar creative role.
  • Strong eye for detail, good time management, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with Adobe XD is a plus.
  • A good understanding of current digital design trends and best practices for web and email.
  • Demonstrated interest in or basic knowledge of HTML & CSS—and a desire to improve.
  • Experience using CMS and email service platforms (ESPs).
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a creative environment.
