Job description
Overview

This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office. As our Front End Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on both new and existing applications and features that play a crucial role in the success of our festivals. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on the experiences of our users. Our portfolio includes top-of-the-line events such as Cannes Lions in the creative marketing industry and Money2020 in finance, among others.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new user-facing features using Next.js, React and Node
  • Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to implement visual and interactive elements.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Work on maintaining and enhancing existing applications, resolving any issues or bugs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of web development principles and best practices.
  • Commercial experience working with Next.js or any other React-based framework.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering and/or static site generation.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Exposure to GraphQL.
