Overview

We are hiring a Junior Company Secretarial Assistant to join our sizable and friendly trading client based in the city. This role will sit as part of the Company Secretaries office, supporting the senior assistant.

Working Model: Three days in the office, two days at home.

Salary: £35-£40K

Experience required

Experience working in a professional service or regulated working environment, experience working as part of the company secretary's office or as a paralegal and knowledge in corporate governance. Excellent minute taking experience is required.

Duties
  • Facilitation of committee meetings
  • Extensive minute-taking of meetings.
  • Assisting with the preparation of meeting materials.
  • Assisting with a range of company secretarial assistant duties.
  • Maintenance of the group's corporate records and compliance.
  • Delivering on corporate governance.
Candidate Required Experience
  • Previous experience working in a professional service or regulated working environment.
  • Previous experience working a paralegal with a keen interest in company secretarial work.
  • Knowledge of corporate governanace.
  • Open to studying towards the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme or equivalent programme (MSc Corporate Governance) or working towards this.
  • Excellent experience in taking and writing minutes of extensive board meetings
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Highly organised.
