Due to continued framework successes, we’re looking for an Assistant Civil Engineer who is passionate about water, drainage and infrastructure to join our Water and Wastewater team in Exeter. Our collaborative and multi‑disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside water mains design, drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways authorities, Network Rail and developers.

Your purpose
  • Develop your experience by contributing to a variety of wastewater and surface water management projects, including the preparation of technical reports, drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and our recognised industry leaders on initiatives to reduce Combined Sewer Overflow spills and flooding occurrences.
  • Help shape holistic water management strategies that transcend traditional red‑line boundaries, with a focus on sustainability, climate resilience and protecting our communities.
  • Leverage digital tools and data to disrupt the status quo, driving innovation and efficiency across the water and infrastructure sectors.
